Experience Inner Peace
Through Bhastrika
'The Breath of Fire'.

Transformational Breath Event

Bhastrika is active pranayama, a yang practice, most importantly a kriya which cleanses the body. This breath is used to energise the body with an influx of oxygen; automatically leading the mind into a relaxation mode. You will learn this kriya by following 3 steps: rapid thrusts of the belly upon inhalation and exhalation, which works the diaphragm and can activate kundalini to ascent to your higher spiritual self; slow guided breathing and finally Vipasanna (tapping into awareness by correlating the flow of breath with that of the mind and eventually decreasing the breath).

Some of its innumerable benefits:

  • Energised the entire body and mind
  • Calms the mind and helps one's to meditate
  • It oxygenates the blood; thus increasing the vitality of organs, tissues, cells, fascia and myofascia.
  • Detoxify emotional and physical bodies
  • Helps to achieve a well-balanced self
  • Most importantly, many schools of yoga, used this breath as a kriya during Covid time, to increase immunity as well as strengthening the lungs.

Content of this workshop:
  • Introduction to the Science of Meditation
  • Tips/advice on breathing and awareness
  • Fully guide practice of the 'Breath of Fire.'
